Advisory Commission for an Inclusive Community (ACIC): Currently there are several positions available on the ACIC. We’re looking for persons interested in serving on the following committees: Diversity Education, Environment, Neighborhoods, and Seniors . Members of the ACIC serve in an advisory role to the Lakewood City Council. In this advisory role, ACIC members research specific issues or topics of interest to the citizens of Lakewood and make recommendations to City Council regarding those issues for potential action. Lakewood residents have a chance to influence public policy decisions by applying to serve on the Advisory Commission for an Inclusive Community.
