Camp Paha Staff Positions

Camp Paha Information:
Camp Paha, City of Lakewood’s Day Camp is serving children and young adults with disabilities.  Camp Paha serves approximately 100 campers from all over the Denver Metro area. We provides an opportunity for our campers to participate in a variety of activities including swimming, creative arts, sports and games, nature programs, music, drama, sensory experiences, field trips and special events. Staff members are expected to participate fully in all activities with our campers. Camp Staff is also trained to meet the physical needs of our campers including toileting, feeding, changing clothes, and transferring.  Employment at Camp Paha is rewarding, challenging, and fun!  We are looking for energetic, helpful, thoughtful, caring, loving, creative, hard working, outstanding and positive individuals. We have opportunities for counselors, counselors in training (CIT), head counselors, activity specialists, assistant directors, student nurses, and volunteers.


Employment Information:
Employment at Camp Paha requires a commitment to the following:  5-8 days of training (depending on your position), 7 weeks of camp, plus an after-camp cleanup day. All staff will be required to attend Monday night staff meetings to review the upcoming week, share concerns, and celebrate accomplishments. Staff is expected to abide by the dress code in the policies and procedures manual.
