CARA Swim Head Coach
SALARY Starting
at $12/hour depending on qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Head Coach is responsible for expanding and perfecting the swim
teams abilities, for attending all Swim Meets and practices, and
ensuring the safety of the swimmers at all times. The coach must
be able to instruct all swimmers in a clear and appropriate manner
in the proper methods of swimming. The Head Coach
should show a genuine interest in all students and enthusiasm in
their coaching.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Education and Experience:
- Previous competitive swimming experience. (i.e. age group Swim
team, USA Swimming, etc.)
- Previous coaching experience.
Certifications:
- Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the PR Certification or
equivalent
Criminal background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
Certifications:
- Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
or equivalent
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification or
equivalent
- Current American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification or
equivalent.
