Swimming Instructor
SALARY $9.69/hour
JOB SUMMARY: The
swimming instructor is responsible for instruction of individuals
to swim.
Instructors must be able to instruct people in the proper methods
of swimming and safety skills. The instructor should
show a genuine interest in all students and enthusiasm in their teaching.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Certifications:
- Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Education and Experience:
- Previous competitive swimming experience. (i.e. age group swim
team, Masters, etc.)
- Previous coaching experience.
Certifications:
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Instructor
