VOLUNTEER
Campground Host
The City of Lakewood is recruiting a Volunteer Campground Host for
Bear Creek Lake Park for the 2010 summer season. Campground
host provides park and area information to campers, information on
park rules and regulations, and support services to park staff.
Duties include:
- Firewood sales, light-duty maintenance, monitoring of campsite
occupancy, and any campground problems or issues.
- Duty hours include a minimum of 25 hours per week--the majority
of work time should be on Friday through Sunday and holidays. Two
days off per week.
- Host will be provided with an electric hookup campsite, water
hookup, table, fire ring, uniform shirt/hat, and waived park
entrance fees.
- Host must have their own RV that is in good condition
- Previous campground host experience is preferred.
- Criminal background check is required.
Hours of work:
Minimum of 25 hours per week --the majority of work time should be
on Friday through Sunday and holidays. Two days off per week.
