Plea bargains by Mail:

Plea bargains are determined by the Lakewood Prosecutor's Office.

If a case is eligible to plead guilty by mail or plea bargain by mail (certain traffic cases only) a notice will be sent prior to your scheduled court date listed on your summons.

If a notice is not received prior to the scheduled court date an appearance in court on the date and time listed on your summons is required.

Mail payment to:

Lakewood Municipal Court, 445 S. Allison Pkwy., Lakewood, CO 80226.

The Court accepts cash, money orders, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. An additional fee will be charged for late payments and all returned checks.

Appearance in Traffic Court:

Traffic Court begins at 8:15 a.m. , Monday - Thursday

Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when appearing in court.

Parking Tickets:

To contest a parking ticket, appear in at the violations bureau at 8:15 a.m. Monday-Thursday, no earlier than three days and no later than 30 days after the violation. Delinquent parking tickets are assessed a late penalty and will be turned over for collection.
