Enroll in Lakewood's free civics course
If you’ve ever wondered where the taxes go that you pay, or what it’s like to drive a snowplow, Lakewood’s Civics 101 course is for you. The course is free to Lakewood residents who want to learn more about how government works.
WHAT: Free Civics 101 course
WHEN:
- Nine weekly sessions on Tuesdays
- 6-9pm, Sept. 28-Nov. 23
WHERE: Lakewood City Hall, 480 S. Allison Parkway
The course will cover a variety of topics and is designed to increase Lakewood residents’ knowledge of and participation in City issues. Participants must be able to attend all nine sessions.
